Barney’s biologists and psychologists in the Lower Sixth experienced a fascinating masterclass in neuroscience yesterday.
Complementing their A Level courses, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr Guy Sutton, of Medical Biology Interactive, who delivered his one-day introductory tutorial.
Dr Sutton covered a range of insightful topics, including presentations on basic brain anatomy, the effects of brain damage, how the human brain can be linked to crime, before concluding a thought-provoking day with a sheep brain dissection.
We are grateful to Dr Sutton, as well as our Biology and Psychology departments, for organising such an enriching experience for Barnardians.
