Barney Pride Day

Ahead of Pride Month in June, in order to allow all Barnardians the chance to celebrate as those sitting
external examinations will be on study leave by then, the Diversity Committee painted our School all the
colours of the rainbow today as we hosted Barney’s second annual Pride Day.
Central Hall was decorated appropriately and students had the opportunity to purchase Pride-themed items.
Sixth Formers in the Diversity Committee later led a Chapel assembly covering the history of Pride, the
importance of being respectful and kind, and to, crucially, support one another.
Our thanks to everyone who organised this very important initiative.
