Barney Pride Day

Ahead of Pride Month in June, Barnardians painted our School all the colours of a rainbow and further championed equality, diversity and inclusivity today, as we hosted Barney’s inaugural Pride Day.
Starting with insightful assemblies in the morning, led by members of our LGBTQ+ Committee and staff nurse, Mrs Newbrook, which covered a range of topics from gender and sexuality to homo/transphobia.
The day concluded with a fun-filled Colour Run involving the entire Senior School, which was the perfect way to close out a wonderful occasion.
Our thanks to everyone involved in the organisation of the event, as well as our Catering staff who baked such delicious rainbow-themed treats for our School community to enjoy!
