Many congratulations to Tees House on its Senior House Public Speaking success yesterday evening!
Ben T, Sam G and Ed W were the deserved winners of the Centenary Trophy, after impressing with their tongue in cheek speech entitled ‘Bird Watching Goes Both Ways’.
A special mention must also go to Emma H, of Marwood House, who was the recipient of the Wilkinson Cup, awarded to the Best Individual Speaker.
Well done to all participants for delivering excellent, articulated speeches throughout what is always a keenly contested event, which covers a range of topics and current affairs.
We are grateful to Miss Salma Ali OB for adjudicating and Mrs Gorman-Tysoe for organising another entertaining event, one of our Barney’s most popular House competitions.
