Headspace Speaker Programme – Mark Preston, Amazon

The entire Senior School community were treated to a fascinating lecture as part of Headspace today, as we welcomed Mark Preston, Global Architect of Transformation at Amazon, to Barney.

He delivered a series of thought-provoking talks to students about the potential impact technology can have on the future workplace, drawing upon the work of Amazon and its various advanced interests.

Mark also challenged pupils to change their way of thinking, stressing the importance of purpose and questioning ‘why’ rather than ‘how’ when completing tasks in all walks of life.

We are grateful for his visit and appreciative of our students who asked Mark several pertinent and excellent questions throughout the morning.
