Longfield House Dinner 2022

We observed a wonderfully beautiful Longfield House Dinner last night, as we paid tribute to outgoing Housemistress, Mrs Burgess, and all Upper Sixth leavers.

There were plenty of laughs, tears and lasting memories made as their Longfield House journeys formally came to an end.

The ladies of Longfield did a fantastic job organising the event, which included musical performances and dancing, as well as video messages from Old Barnardians and current pupils, who touched on the positive impact Mrs Burgess has had on their lives.

Mrs Burgess, who has been Longfield Housemistress since 2018, will remain at Barney and continue her excellent sports coaching and teaching.

Thank you to everyone who supported the occasion, especially Barney’s Catering staff for preparing a delicious three course meal.
