The MCC visits Barney

It was wonderful to welcome the MCC, the world’s most active cricket club, for a fixture against Barney’s 1st XI today.
In stark contrast to last year’s washout, playing and coaching staff as well as those from within our community in attendance were treated to an enjoyable day’s play.
Although Barney lost by 40 runs, it was a great experience for our students and budding cricketers, with plenty of excellent cricket and sportsmanship on show throughout.
We wish the MCC all the very best with the remainder of their comprehensive schedule, and look forward to hosting this illustrious side again in the future.
