Breast Cancer Awareness Month x OddBalls

Today, our Senior School community has been raising funds and awareness for two important causes, as we recognise Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the importance of breaking down the stigma of testicular cancer.
Impressively, several Upper Sixth students, Noni, Grace and Millie, led a Whole School assembly in Chapel this morning, alongside a guest speaker from The OddBalls Foundation.
It was certainly a series of talks that put things into perspective, which touched a number of topics and initiatives, including Black History Month and moving diary entries from those suffering from cancer.
We are grateful to former Preppie and OB James Gray, Newcastle University’s The OddBalls Foundation ambassador, for discussing the work of the charity and the importance of being vigilant.
