Lectern Club: Legacy
23 Sep 2022It was wonderful to host the first Lectern Club of the academic year yesterday evening.
One of Barney Sixth Form’s most popular co-curricular activities, which combines fine dining and public speaking, this term’s opening event focused on ‘legacy’ with students delivering speeches on the topic.
Well done to all speakers who gave excellent, confident three-minute speeches, which included several from students who are new to Sixth Form and Barney.
Many thanks to everyone who made the night so special, especially the Lectern Committee and Barney’s dedicated catering staff.
