Esia Forsyth, Marwood House
An excellent public speaker and stalwart of Barney’s Lectern Club, Esia Forsyth, former Head of Marwood House, is perfectly placed at Bristol University where she will study towards an English degree.
“English literature has always been my favourite subject,” she explains.
“I like the analytical approach to human nature and the course also includes studying some of my favourite authors.”
A first team hockey player, helping the school reach the national finals, who often had main roles in Barney’s drama productions, she plans to use the discipline and passion for sport in her future learning.
Commenting on her time at Barney, Esia said: “I loved the whole Barney journey, right from when I started at Prep in Year 4. It has been amazing, the trips, the sport and the house activities.”
